Welcome to Boston Test Prep! These terms outline our tutoring policies to ensure a productive and positive experience for students and families. By booking a session, you agree to the following terms.
Our Commitment to Your Student
Every tutoring package is designed to set your student up for success. Here's what you can always count on from Boston Test Prep:
Session Structure
⏱ Session Duration
All tutoring sessions are 60 minutes in length unless otherwise noted at the time of booking or in your service agreement.
👤 Private Tutoring
Private tutoring sessions are designed for one student only. Each session is dedicated exclusively to the enrolled student to ensure focused, personalized instruction.
Cancellation Policy
📅 Standard Cancellations
We understand that schedules change. Please provide at least 18 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your session.
⚠️ Last-Second Cancellations
Cancellations made with less than 18 hours notice are considered "last-second cancellations." These sessions cannot be refunded or rescheduled, as this time has been reserved exclusively for your student.
🚫 No-Show Policy
If a session time is confirmed and the student does not appear, the tutor will remain available in the session room for 15 minutes. After this time, the session will be marked as a "no-show" and will not be eligible for refund or rescheduling.
Score Guarantee Information
📈 Average Score Improvements
Our students typically see score improvements ranging from 100 to 400 points. These results depend on student follow-through with study plans, consistent use of the strategies taught in sessions, and regular meeting frequency. Students who meet twice per week tend to see the biggest shifts in their scores.
📊 No Score Guarantee
Boston Test Prep does not guarantee specific test scores. While we provide exceptional instruction and support, final results depend on each student's commitment to following their personalized study plan between sessions.
