"I had a one-on-one consultation with Ricardo where we reviewed my previous tests, and the experience was incredibly enlightening. He provided thoughtful feedback, helped me identify areas for improvement, and was supportive throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Boston Test Prep to anyone looking for SAT, ACT, or other standardized test tutoring."
Before you write, quick answers.
A few things worth knowing before our call.
How should I prepare for the 20-minute consultation?
Bring whatever you have on your child's testing history — PSAT or SAT scores if they've taken either, any prep they've done before, and a sense of what they're aiming for in terms of score or target colleges. A score report is helpful but not required. Whatever you have on hand is fine.
Does my child need to be on the call?
No — your child doesn't need to be on the call. Many parents prefer to gather information first, then loop their kid in afterward. If your student wants to join for part of it, that's also fine, but it's not required.
Can you work with a student who has an IEP, 504, ADHD, or a learning difference?
Yes — and often very well. I've been working with IEP and 504 students for over 12 years, with experience around accommodations, executive-function support, and pacing strategies. Tell me about your child's situation in the message so I can come prepared.
How soon can we start if we decide to work together?
Usually within a week. I keep a small roster on purpose, so there's sometimes a short wait. If your test date is close, flag that in your message and I'll prioritize getting back to you.
